Fans of the Music superstar, Davido, have responded to the supposed press release he posted on Instagram in which he blatantly denied having any amorous relationship with his first baby Mama, Sophia Momodu. This came up after days of speculations and viral reports on various top blogs about the alleged renewed affair between the duo going by their recent frolicking on social media and the most recent one, the so-called ‘vacation trip’ they took together with Imade Adeleke, their love child.
Davido put up a picture some days ago with his daughter Imade in a private jet with the caption, 'Taking my baby on a little vacation'. Shortly after, Sophia Momodu his baby mama posted a picture taken from the same private Jet as David, then included the caption saying, 'Dear Ghana, be good to me'.
Davido gave a detailed response, explaining all that transpired and what led to Sophia being on the same aircraft with him en-route Ghana.
The statement he dropped on his Instagram story reads; “I just want to drop a quick comment on the silly blogs headlines I've been seeing circulate about me 'taking the mother of my first child on holiday to Ghana' and really wish y'all would quit with it”.
He continued, ”You all know very well I recently proposed to my girlfriend Chioma, and it would make no sense whatsoever for me to be doing such.”
“My daughter’s mom had a business in Ghana with Afrochella selling Imade’s hair products at stalls and I obviously was booked to perform at Afronation. I simply gave her a lift to Ghana for the sake of Imade who I didn’t want left-back in Lagos without his mother. I was either that or she flies economy.”
“I do not understand why y’all would spread such rumors you know would do nothing but hurt my fiancé and disrespect her family. 2020 is for positive energies only. Get with it!”
However, his fans who have been spectators, as well as analyzers of the dicey situation, have come out to state their disapproval of Davido’s response, as they tag it as a huge disrespect to Sophia; the tree that produced Davido’s first fruit. They believe Davido’s response was blatantly insensitive and would hurt Sophia’s feelings and make her feel more unloved.
