Trump Says Zuckerberg Told Him He’s Facebook’s ‘Number One’

“I had dinner with Mark Zuckerberg the other day and he said ‘I’d like to congratulate you… you are number one on Facebook,’” Trump said.

The president, speaking in a live interview with right-wing radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, did not specify when the dinner happened.

A spokesman for Facebook said the last such dinner took place in October.

The president noted the importance of social media to his messaging, which depends on bypassing much of the professional news media, which he accuses of bias against him.

Trump, who has nearly 70 million followers on Twitter, told Limbaugh that without the platform, “I think we’d be lost.”

“We wouldn’t be able to get the truth out,” he said.

US social media platforms have come under criticism for enabling misinformation and fake news in the build-up to the 2020 presidential election.

Trump himself has repeatedly used Facebook and Twitter to push untrue statements and conspiracy theories.

Both those platforms have responded by saying they will not attempt to weed out lies from politicians because their statements fall under the category of “newsworthy” content.

Trump is number one on Facebook in terms of political ad spending, leading to accusations that the company is unduly influenced by the Republican.

At the October dinner at the White House, Trump and Zuckerberg were reportedly joined by Facebook board member Peter Thiel.

After, Democratic presidential candidate Senator Elizabeth Warren called for transparency over Facebook’s links to Trump.

I Did Not Impregnate The President’s Daughter – Nigeria Footballer Laments

 Donatus Edafe is not a household name, but the footballer was in the news recently, not for his exploits on the pitch, rather for allegedly scoring points with his club President’s daughter off the pitch.

Edafe, 26, moved from Nigeria to Slovenia chasing his dream of a great football career and while there in the hope to kick start what could possibly become the next big story, he made headlines for causing a small scandal, that ended up being a hoax.

There had been reports of a footballer’s love affair gone awry, and it had to do with an unnamed Nigerian in the lower divisions in Slovenia, who knocked up a lady and got the sack by his club side for misconduct.

Days later a few publications put a name to the faceless footballer and a club name to the organization involved.

However, it turns out it was all calumny and a scandal Edafe is hoping to wish away – even through legal means.

In an exclusive interview on Brila FM’s football Live show, the midfielder narrated what has become his travail.

“When I got there (ND Gorica), I wasn’t getting playing time and my Agent told the club I wanted to leave. I did and went to India.

“Only four foreigners were named on matchday day, but one had to sit on the bench. The club president asked that we be patient, but my Agent declined and we pulled the plug.

“So there was no wrong doing on my part or the club and we have a good relationship; even before I went to India, I visited the club.

“The president doesn’t have a daughter. When I saw the news last week I was shocked and I called my friend Amarachi Osuji, who was in Slovenia and he was unaware.

“The next day when I came back from training I saw my name attached to the story, I was so so mad. The reports attempted to tarnish my name and I will take this matter to the Court,” said Edafe.

Here are the most viewed Nigerian music videos of the past decade.

A day ago, Nigerian PR Consultant, Ogaga Sakpaide released the list after due research. Upon verification, Pulse has decided to run with it.

The list is created off the number of views the videos for those songs were able to amass on YouTube. The decade in view is between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2019.

Here are the songs in the top 20;

1. 1. Fall by Davido (153 million views): The song is the biggest cross-over Nigerian pop song ever. It charted on Billboard's digital airplay chart. The weirdness is how the song began charting in the US two years after its release. Cardi B also leaked an unreleased remix to the song.
2. 2.Way Maker by Sinach (136 million views): This is the biggest Nigerian cross-over song ever. It is sung in churches across the world and performed by Kanye West's Sunday Service Choir.
3. 3.Pana by Tekno (116 million views): In 2016, this song was huge in the US - especially the major cities. Ebro Darden confirmed it in a chat with Davido on Ebro In The Morning circa 2018.
4. 4.Johnny by Yemi Alade (111 million views): This was the biggest pop song by a female Nigerian artist in the past decade. It also catapulted Yemi Alade into superstardom.
5. 5.Mad Over You by Runtown (98 million views): This was the song that defined an entire era of Nigerian music. This era was the heavy Ghana-influenced sound of 2016. It was also the biggest song of 2016.
6. 6.If by Davido (97 million views): 'Fall' might have been the biggest cross-over song from Davido's immense 2017 run, but 'IF' started that run.
7. 7.Personally by P-Square (95 million views): This was one of the final mega hits of P Square's run.
8. 8.Do Like That by Korede Bello (89 million views): A surprise on the list, considering it's not even close to being Bello's biggest song.

16. 16.Duro by Tekno (68.7 million views): This was the second song on Tekno's immense 2016 run.

Samsung Galaxy A-series trademark reveals the names of the 2021 handsets

And they're exactly what we'd expect

Some of the most popular Samsung phones are the Galaxy A series, the company's affordable range, with several different devices making it one of the busiest phone families. It looks like Samsung's 2021 range of Galaxy A devices are on their way, as the company has just trademarked their names.

This news comes from Twitter user @_the_tech_guy, who posted screengrabs of the trademark applications for nine Samsung Galaxy A phones - and they're named exactly as you'd expect them to be if you're familiar with the range.

The phones will be called the Galaxy A12, A22, A32, A42, A52, A62, A72, A82 and A92, with the A12 being the most affordable option, and the others gradually increasing in specs (and price).

In 2019, the Galaxy A phones launched with AX0 labels, from the A10 to the A90, and the 2020 range with AX1 monickers has already started to roll out, with the A51 and A71 teased for certain regions. We're expecting to see more of the latter series shown off at CES 2020 or MWC 2020, two tech shows in January and February respectively.

It's worth noting that in 2019 the Galaxy A80 was quite different to the other phones, while the A90 was a 5G device. We haven't seen the A81 and A91 yet, so we don't know if Samsung will do the same with its 2020 phones, but it's reasonable to assume that this will be the case for both the AX1 phones and 2021's AX2 series.

So it seems that Samsung will continue with its naming convention in 2021, when we'd expect the AX2 phones to be released. This isn't surprising, since it wouldn't make sense to change the naming convention after only two series, but this news is also important because it confirms that Samsung is indeed working on the devices.
